These is a part-time, term-time only role for 22 hours per week  (Teaching Assistant) plus an additional Midday Supervisor role.  Working pattern to be agreed.

Salary for Level One Teaching Assistant: £12,361 - £12,754 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grade 4 (Points 3-5)

Salary for Level Two Teaching Assistant: £12,754 - £13,163 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grade 5 (Points 5-7)

Plus an additional Midday Supervisor role : £1,383 - £1,404 (Actual Salary per year) Grade 3 (Points 2-3) based on 2.5 hours per week. 

Would you like a fulfilling job where you will be making a real difference? If so, we have an exciting part-time opportunity to join our Teaching Assistant team at Hatton Park Primary School!  You will be part of a very friendly team working to supporting children's learning or a one-to-one basis, either as a Level One or Level Two Teaching Assistant.  This will be a varied role where you will need to be consistent and resourceful - a rewarding and vital role supporting the learning and well-being of our children and you will see their progress every day! An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and will also include midday supervision during the children’s lunchbreak.

The ideal candidate:

·        Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent

·        Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One or Two

·        Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team

·        Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
