The governors of Kelsall Primary and Nursery School are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified specialist Teaching Assistant to join our inclusion team, working in KS2. This role involves working under the direction of the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to provide support in our Year 3 class and enable greater inclusion. Our successful candidate will need to experience of working with children with social communication difficulties, Cerebral Palsy and speech and language needs and be able to work collaboratively.
This role will require
working with the class teacher to plan and deliver outstanding inclusive
practice within the class to support children with complex needs. This
includes:

Delivering interventions
and support as outlined with a child’s EHCP (small group and 1:1)

Planning and delivering
other interventions
-
Sensory Circuits and
other sensory support
-
Encouraging inclusion in
the classroom and the wider life of the school

Foster positive
relationships with families and work with them to support their child to be
successful
-
Work
with outside agencies to implement their recommendations to support the
development and inclusion of children with complex needs.
The
post is term time only - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm.
