If
you are enthusiastic, quick thinking, adaptable, have a good sense of humour
and enjoy a challenge, this is the school for you. This is a fantastic career
opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with passion and commitment who really
does have the desire to make a difference to the lives of children. We can
offer you in return delightful children and friendly supportive staff.
St.
Laurence Church of England Junior Academy is looking to appoint an experienced
KS 2 class teacher. We would like to appoint an excellent classroom
practitioner, who has high expectations of themselves and their pupils and has
the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality teaching
and creative learning experiences. We strive for high standards of achievement
across the curriculum and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a
determination to make a difference. We are looking for someone who will value
our school vision of developing the "whole child"; both academic and
character.
Our
school has a strong, caring Christian ethos, high expectations, hard-working
children and a strong team of motivated and supportive teaching and support
staff. We strongly advise prospective applicants to visit our school before
submitting an application where you will receive a warm welcome. St. Laurence
Church of England Junior Academy is fully committed to the welfare of pupils
and safeguarding. This post is dependent on a Disclosure Barring Service check,
Health checks and satisfactory references.
The
successful applicant will be required to lead at least one subject across the
school, as well as a core subject. Due
to this, the role will not be suitable for an ECT.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract for 1 year to be reviewed in August 2027.
This
advertisement will close early if a suitable applicant is found before the closing
date.
