This vacancy has arisen following the retirement of a long-serving and highly valued member of our site team.

Why Work With Us?

Part of the Great Schools Trust, one of the UK’s fastest-improving multi-academy trusts, we prioritise the well-being and development of both students and staff. All our academies are rated ‘Good’ or better by Ofsted, and we are proud to nurture a culture of respect, professionalism, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds.
  • Taking receipt of all deliveries.
  • Carrying out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs.
  • Some supervision of school cleaning staff.
  • Promoting health and safety around the school.

What We Offer

  • A strong, supportive community with clear values: Achievement, Aspiration, Self-awareness, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Endeavour (ASPIRE)
  • A role that supports student learning and wellbeing by providing a safe, clean space
  • Respectful and friendly working culture with opportunities to grow within the trust
  • Family-friendly policies and staff wellbeing initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of cleanliness
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a facilities role is an advantage, but not essential
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Hours of Work

  • Alternate shifts - 6am to 2pm / 12pm to 8pm
  • Alternate Saturdays (mainly 8am to 2pm)

How to Apply
