Join Our Team at The Sele School – Learning Support
Officer (H4)
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated
Learning Support Officer to join our vibrant and inclusive school
community. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the
lives of young people by supporting their learning, well-being, and behaviour
both in and out of the classroom. This role is for a fixed term contract of 1
year. Working hours are 32.5 per week, 9am - 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our
pastoral and teaching teams in promoting positive behaviour and student
engagement. Your focus will be on helping students to overcome barriers to
learning, managing low-level disruptions, and offering targeted pastoral and
emotional support. You will also work closely with staff and external agencies
to ensure a joined-up approach to student care.
