About this Role

Head of Religious Education

0.8FTE post but 0.6FTE would be considered

We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Religious Education.  A successful candidate would be able to teach across all key stages (KS3-5)

The strength of the Humanities faculty is the breadth of the courses and opportunities offered to pupils at KS3 – KS5.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established subject within a strong team who will be able to offer support and CPD throughout your career journey.  We are looking for someone to inspire our students with their vision and passion for Religious Education, growing its prominence within the department.

The ideal candidate will be able to operate within a dynamic and forward-thinking team who are focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-18 age range.  You must have a passion for Religious Education, together with the knowledge and skills to inspire and motivate our students.

Applications are welcomed from teachers at all career stages, and if you require any further information, please contact Trudi Purnell (Head of Faculty) on tpurnell@rushcliffespencer.org.uk . Alternatively, please contact the HR team should you have any general queries on HR@rushcliffespencer.org.uk
