Teacher of Humanities - Philosophy & Religious Studies and History

Contract: Full Time/Part time

Responsible To: Subject Lead

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and dedicated professional to join our collaborative and progressive secondary school environment, contributing significantly to the academic progress and holistic development of our students. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspirational teacher, able to deliver Philosophy and Religious Studies (PRS) at Key Stages 3 and 4, and History at Key Stage 3. The capability to teach PRS at Key Stage 5 is a distinct advantage.

The successful applicant will:

  • have an excellent knowledge and academic background in PRS and another Humanities subject

  • be a proven outstanding practitioner, qualified to teach PRS and at least another Humanities subject  to the highest standard

  • show innovation and determination to ensure all our students receive a first class education

  • make significant contributions to both the department and whole school vision
