The role involves teaching IB English language and literature across the MYP and DP curricula, ensuring effective delivery of key knowledge and skills to a diverse student body, and maintaining discipline. The candidate will help establish a positive and inclusive school ethos, implement best practice policies, and engage parents in the school community. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Deputy Heads of Secondary, providing regular feedback to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on student progress and whole-school achievements, and actively supporting the broad and balanced IB curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Essential: Teaching qualification, university degree in a related subject.

• Desirable: Experience with IB MYP and/or DP.

• Skills: Excellent communication, motivational, and ICT skills; strong knowledge of varied pedagogical practices and the ability to inspire critical thinking in students.
