Cedar
Road Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging,
inspirational and dedicated part-time teacher to work as part of our KS2 team.
This part-time post will be for a Year 3 class on a Thursday and Friday. (This year group may be subject to change in future years.) Two days per week 6.5hours per day. Fixed term to 31st August 2026
We
would like to hear from applicants who can help us maintain and further develop
the school's excellent teaching and learning. We can offer career
development for teachers of all levels of experience who can offer high quality
opportunities for the children.
About the role
To
carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class,
two days per week, alongside the regular teacher.
To
carry out appropriate planning, teaching, marking and assessment activities so
each child can achieve their potential.
To
be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the
safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
To
promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of
education.

We
are a successful primary school situated near Abington Park in Northampton
town. We have two classes of 30 pupils in each year group, and the year group
teams work very closely together to deliver a high standard of education,
experience and enjoyment for every pupil. Our ethos is based
around building core values of respect, ambition, courage and aspiration
throughout our school community, as well as ensuring that each pupil has the
ambition to achieve as highly as he / she can.
At
Cedar Road Primary we want all our pupils to feel valued, confident and excited
