About this Role

We are looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a Cleaner at Grove Park Primary school.

You will be required to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within classrooms, corridors, halls, offices and toilets. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, using a floor cleaning machine and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc. Applicants should have a good grasp of the requirements of cleaning in a school including the need for confidentiality and understand the health and safety procedures relevant to the role and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment.

The position is permanent vacancy for 12.5 hours per week (3.20pm - 5.50pm), 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) term time only, 43 weeks per year (38 weeks during term time plus 5 weeks to be worked during the school holidays)
