 We have a fantastic opportunity for a class teacher, who must have Key Stage 2 experience, at East Tilbury Primary School.  As part of the Osborne Cooperative Academy Trust, the school is proud of its inclusive ethos and the broad and enriched curriculum that it provides for all pupils.  This position will involve: 

  •  Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities  
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom 
  • Acting as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour, to create a safe and inclusive learning environment 
  • Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding  
  • Establishing positive relationships with the pupils, parents and other staff in the school

 The successful candidate will be:

  • A great communicator with excellent organisational skills and a helpful attitude

  • Able to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students’ welfare  

 East Tilbury Primary School is located in the heart of East Tilbury, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is on the C2C Line between Shoeburyness and Fenchurch Street Station. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. East Tilbury Primary School is just over nine miles from the M25.
