8:30am-3:30pm 4 days a week (possibility to extend to 5 days) 26 hours per week

Weeks:

39 term time weeks, plus two holiday weeks per annum (including INSET days as set by the Trust)

The post holder will support individual pupils through mentoring and learning support work, be a deputy designated safeguarding lead with a responsibility for specific cases, including attending core group meetings and case conferences, and supporting families across the academy.

Purpose of the role:

  • ·       To support pupils in securing an excellent education at Chepping View Primary Academy and provide an inclusive education for pupils
  • ·       To advise and liaise with teachers, SLT, parents and other professionals to best meet the needs of children requiring additional support
  • ·       To work as one of the academy’s DSLs
  • ·       Treat pupils and staff with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
