About this Role

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and caring class teacher to join our team for a full academic year maternity cover (September 2026 - July 2027). Whether your passion lies in Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, we are looking for someone who will bring energy, creativity and high expectations to the classroom - and who shares our commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

About Us

We are a proud, high-performing primary school where children are encouraged to Inspire, Enjoy and Achieve. Our core value of RESPECT underpins everything we do, and our unique provision - including our 7 Wonders - ensures that learning goes far beyond the classroom.

We are passionate about:

  • Creating memorable learning experiences

  • Supporting the whole child, including wellbeing and personal development

  • Maintaining high expectations for every pupil

  • Developing staff through high-quality CPD and collaboration

Our curriculum is shaped by our commitment to providing children with rich, meaningful experiences through our Magnificent 7. These are central to how we inspire curiosity, build confidence and develop the whole child.

We are looking for a teacher who will embrace this approach - someone who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils

  • Can create a positive, engaging and well-structured learning environment

  • Is committed to ensuring every child makes strong progress

  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

  • Brings energy, creativity and a sense of fun to the classroom

  • Is reflective and keen to develop their practice

If you are someone who enjoys bringing learning to life, you will feel very much at home here. Whether you are an experienced teacher or new to the profession, we welcome applications from those who are passionate about making a difference.
