Weatherfield Academy is a growing 7-19 age range SEND school working with pupils who have Cognition and Learning Delay and additional complex needs taught in classes of approximately 12 students.

Starting April, we are currently looking for cleaners working from 3.30pm – 6pm Monday to Friday, 12.5 hours a week, over 50 weeks of the year. The role will entail:

·         To carry out a range of cleaning operations to prescribed standards as instructed by the Site Manager or other authorised persons.

·         To use professional cleaning materials and industrial machinery in a safe and economical manner and wear appropriate protective clothing as supplied.

·         Clear and remove rubbish and other items from areas within the cleaning contract.

·         To report to the line supervisor, or authorised deputy, issues that are likely to affect the work of a cleaning operative.

·         Ensure that hand tools and equipment are in good working condition and that storage lockers and cupboards of Cleaning Operatives are clean and tidy.

·         Ensure the security of areas at the completion of cleaning duties.
