Our last Ofsted
inspection (February 2026) judged the Academy to be at strong standard in two
categories and expected standard in all others. They said that leaders place considerable
emphasis on developing their staff. Staff development is carefully planned,
well sequenced and aligned with whole‑school priorities, as well as individual
needs and that every pupil who walks through the door of Joseph Leckie Academy
is treated as an individual with potential.
