This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a vibrant school community, where every day brings something worth sharing. From celebrating student achievements to promoting major events, you will play a key role in capturing and showcasing school life in a way that is engaging, modern and authentic.

 Why this role stands out

·         Flexibility over working days and patterns

·         Opportunity to shape and grow the school’s profile and reputation

·         Freedom to bring your own ideas and creativity to the role

 Key responsibilities

You will lead on how the school presents itself across digital, print and in-person channels.

Your work will include:

·         Creating engaging content using your photography, videography and creative skills

·         Managing and developing the school’s social media and digital presence

·         Promoting student achievements, events and key school messages

·         Identifying and developing compelling stories from across school life

·         Supporting and attending events to capture high-quality content

·         Working with colleagues to produce marketing materials for a wide range of activities

·         Supporting alumni engagement, fundraising initiatives and community partnerships

·         Ensuring consistency and quality across all communications as a brand ambassador

 About you

We are looking for someone who:

·         Is creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas

·         Enjoys storytelling and creating engaging content

·         Is confident using social media and digital tools

·         Has a strong eye for detail and visual presentation

·         Builds positive relationships with others

·         Is organised, adaptable and enjoys working on a variety of projects

·         You may have experience in marketing, communications or digital content—or be looking to bring relevant skills from another sector into a school environment.

 What we offer

·         A supportive and welcoming working environment

·         Opportunities for professional development and training (CPD)

·         Flexible working arrangements

·         The opportunity to make a visible impact within the school community

·         A role where you can see the difference your work makes every day

  • Term-time working, supporting a strong work-life balance

  • Completed applications should reach us by 9.00am on Thursday 2 July 2026.

Please note that we reserve the right to call candidates to interview before the closing date. As such, early applications are encouraged.

  • Denefield School would like all candidates to answer specific questions for the personal statement section. For reference, here is a preview of the questions/headings:

    1. Tell us about a piece of content (social post, campaign, video, or publication) you’ve created that you’re particularly proud of. What made it effective and what impact did it have?
    2. Please outline your skills and experience that make you a suitable candidate for this post.
    3. What skills, strengths or experiences (from any sector) would you bring to this role, particularly in creating engaging digital or visual content?
