                  The hours for this role will be 22.5 per week, 3 days per week, term time plus Inset.

                 The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, contributory public-sector pension scheme and a  generous annual leave entitlement:

  • ·        Salary:   £14,887.83 - £16,149.44 (FTE £28,605 - £31,029)
  • ·         Local Government Pension Scheme membership
  • ·         5.6 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.44 weeks after 5 years’ continuous service

The pastoral team here at JFC play a key role in setting the tone and culture for their year group. They are expected to model and uphold the values of the school – hard work, kindness and resilience – and to provide support, care and guidance for all students as required in their year group. Student Managers will have many opportunities to broaden their knowledge through the implementation of various CPD opportunities and support and ongoing training with the Senior Team Pastoral Leads.

 

This role may be suitable for a graduate looking to gain relevant and practical experience within schools with a view to undertake teacher training or to gain specialist training and knowledge in a field that you are passionate about. The role may also be suitable for anyone who has experience of working in a school in any pastoral capacity

 

The successful candidate will need to be an organised and creative person with good IT skills and a commitment to transforming the life choices of young people. You will also need to be confident in speaking to school staff, students and parents.

 

The start date for the role is as soon as possible and is dependent on completion of satisfactory pre-employment checks.
