Catering Assistant

Part-time, Permanent

10 hours per week, 12:30pm-2:30pm Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year

Saint George’s Church of England School is looking for a candidate of exceptional ability to join our team as a Catering Assistant in this successful all-through provision.

Work pattern:

  • Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 2.30pm

Job Purpose: To assist in setting up for the lunch service, serving at the tills and ensuring the kitchen and equipment is cleaned to a high standard.

Accountabilities

  • Assist with setting up for the lunch service.
  • Serve at the tills.
  • Clean the kitchen, servery and Olive Grove (canteen) surfaces, floors, equipment and appliances to ensure the cleanliness of the working environment in accordance with acceptable standards of hygiene. This includes removing rubbish, sweeping and mopping.
  • Support the catering team and catering Manager with other duties as required.
  • Attend training courses as required.
  • Comply with Health & Safety, Fire Regulations and other policies.
