Stamford Welland Academy is seeking a reliable, proactive and skilled Site Officer to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in maintenance, facilities management, caretaking, construction, estates, or a similar role. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring our academy site is well-maintained, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
  • Ensure the security of the academy site, including unlocking and locking buildings.
  • Carry out routine inspections of the premises and grounds.
  • Undertake general maintenance, repairs and decorating tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety standards across the site.
  • Support compliance with fire safety, Legionella, asbestos and other statutory requirements.
  • Carry out regular testing and recording of site safety checks.
  • Maintain academy grounds to a high standard.
  • Liaise with and supervise contractors working on site.
  • Assist with room setups and site preparations for academy events.
  • Respond promptly to site issues and emergencies.
  • Promote a safe and positive environment for all members of the school community.
