JOB OVERVIEW
Peareswood
Primary School is an inclusive and supportive primary school in Erith, with a

can be. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to support
teaching and learning at Peareswood Primary School in Erith. This role is
varied in the support you will provide for the children, and will vary from
taking small groups, working individually or supporting the whole class.
We
are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who shares
the same passion for learning as our school team and strives to seek excellence
in every day.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Working
with class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning.
·
Coaching
children on a 1:1 or group basis.
·
Accompanying
groups on trips.
·
Supporting
assessment and evidencing learning
·
Working
with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning
resources
·
Maintaining
a safe and positive environment for all learners
·
Creating
opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of
ability

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
·
GCSE
English and Maths at grade C or above.
·
Ideally
a relevant level 3 supporting teaching and learning in schools’ qualification
or working towards this qualification.
·
A
proven ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.
·
A
high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to
children and adults.
·
The
ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
·
A
can-do attitude.
·
A
commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone
