About this Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive estates professional to join us at Leodis Academies Trust as Senior Site Supervisor at Woodkirk Academy & Sixth Form, playing a key role in maintaining a safe, high‑quality learning environment for our school community. Woodkirk Academy has secured a place on the Department for Education's School Rebuilding Programme, and this role will be a crucial part of the onsite operations team throughout and following the build programme.

We are a successful Multi Academy Trust with a family of five schools, four Primary Academy schools, and one Secondary school & Sixth Form, in the South Leeds area. Each of our Academies have their own identity and ethos that reflects their specific community and the needs of the young people within them. All are underpinned by a strong sense of purpose and high standards, which in turn develops confident and enthusiastic young people who value education and the opportunities available to them. Whilst this role will primarily be based at Woodkirk Academy, there may be occasions where support is required at the other schools across the Trust.

As an essential member of the team, the Senior Site Supervisor will:

  • Lead site security, maintenance and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the academy remains safe, compliant and ready for learning every day
  • Manage and mentor a skilled facilities team, with oversight of cleaning contractors to drive high standards, professionalism and compliance across the estate
  • Shape a first‑class learning environment, supporting refurbishment projects, lettings and continual improvement, in a role where your work has a direct impact on pupils, staff and the wider community

If you bring strong practical estates knowledge, enjoy leading people, and take pride in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and presentation across a busy school site, we would love to hear from you.
