This is an exciting opportunity to influence the direction, quality, and impact of Business Studies within a thriving secondary school.

About the Role

As Curriculum Lead for Business Studies, you will play a key role in shaping high‑quality teaching and learning across the department. Responsibilities include:

Developing and leading a well‑sequenced, ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of all learners and reflects current educational standards.

Ensuring consistency and high expectations across the department through modelling best practice and supporting colleagues with planning and teaching strategies.

Supporting and mentoring colleagues, including contributing to professional development and leading effective departmental meetings.

Working collaboratively with SLT, other curriculum leads, and external partners to maintain high standards and share good practice.

Contributing to departmental quality assurance, including learning walks, book looks, and appraisal activities as directed.

In addition to your leadership duties, you will deliver high‑quality Business Studies lessons, maintain strong behaviour expectations, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
