About this Role

We seek a motivated, dedicated and innovative Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our experienced team at Manor High School.  We offer Spanish and French to GCSE, therefore you would be able to offer teaching to this standard.

Our students love school and they love their language lessons! We are very much of the philosophy - “Languages for All”.  We have EBACC entry levels of c90% year after year.  Our School and Languages department share the same beliefs, that Languages should be at the heart of the curriculum.  Languages are core to our curriculum offer.  If you are looking for the school that values your subject as highly as can be, you have found that school!

We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is passionate about languages and wants to inspire others and in return, you will benefit from being supported by a committed and talented staff body and an experienced MFL team.

We are a 1-2-1 iPad school, and this has transformed how we teach and how students learn.  Full support and training will be given to the successful candidate.  It is an exciting journey to be a part of!

Manor High is an exceptional 11-16 school based in a highly desirable part of Oadby, Leicestershire.  It has over 900 students and is part of the OAK Academies Trust.  We benefit from a culturally diverse population and a body of students who are well-motivated, with very high aspirations.  Our school is founded upon four core values: Excellence, Inspiration, Resilience and Respect. These underpin all that we do and all that we are.

We will support your own professional learning and development, through CPD opportunities and our instructional coaching model.

Please refer to the OAK candidate information pack for details of the OAK employee benefits.

Come and visit us before you apply; our Headteacher would love to show you our school in action.  We would be delighted to receive an application from you thereafter.

For more information or to arrange a visit please contact our HR Manager, Nicola Savill on 0116-2729797 or click apply now.
