Commitment to safeguarding
Here at Lynch Hill, we pride ourselves on being committed to maintaining
a positive culture of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. As
a school, it is expected that all staff and volunteers share this commitment.
Our most recent safeguarding
audit (February 2023) reported that: ‘LHPSA is a school where children feel safe and, from
this audit, much is in place to ensure everyone is indeed safe at the school. Safeguarding
is at the forefront of what people do, without it being forced or difficult:
importantly, there is humility from the Safeguarding Team and SLT colleagues,
and no sense that the challenge of Safeguarding has been ‘cracked’ although
LHPSA should be proud of the current position.’
Lynch Hill School is a large primary
academy in the west of Slough. We serve a diverse community which is very
important to us with over 45 home languages represented within our school. Our school is an engaging, tolerant and respectful
community that is empathetic to the needs of others. At Lynch Hill, we
believe that every child should be equally valued, irrespective of abilities or
individual differences and encouraged to develop to their full potential. We
are committed to providing all children with an inclusive learning environment
so that they can aim high, removing barriers to learning to enable
them to work hard and ensure that their wellbeing is at the
heart of all we do so that they know that we care deeply.
