We have a maternity cover vacancy for a Teacher of French role available from May 2026.

The Role

Start date: 18^th May 2026

End date: 14^th May 2027, or earlier with one month’s notice

We are not able to offer sponsorship to non-settled individuals for a Skilled Worker Visa.  

The successful candidate will

• Inspire a passion for languages, whilst delivering a knowledge rich curriculum
• Teach French at Key Stage 3 – 4
• Contribute to the wider improvement of the school
• Be driven and passionate about securing positive outcomes for students

Our School

Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2025.
