 TEACHER OF  ENGLISH

Role appropriate for ECT/ experienced teacher with a potential for a July start 

The ability to offer Drama and/or ‘A’ Level experience in teaching English Language or Literature would be welcomed

 

The Academy is looking to appoint a passionate and well-qualified teacher of English.  The role would suit an early careers teacher.  If you want to be part of a thriving department who go above and beyond when ensuring we provide the highest quality of education to students, then NHGS is the school for you.  In return, you will become part of a close team; a warm, welcoming and happy department.

All our KS4 students complete AQA GCSE English Language and AQA GCSE English Literature. (For the Literature paper we teach Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Lord of the Flies and the War and Conflict part of the anthology). We deliver A Levels in English Language (AQA) and English Literature (OCR).

The candidate must be:
