About this Role

We are currently seeking a number of casual Exam Invigilators to join our team in supporting students and staff in the administration of school exams. Previous experience is not required. The successful candidate will receive full training and on the job support from our existing invigilators and Exams Manager. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Supervising students in examination rooms,
  • Distributing and collecting examination papers,
  • Assisting with the set-up of exam rooms, 
  • Understanding and adhering to safeguarding procedures and exam regulations. 

This is a casual, zero hours contract. OHA's Exam Manager will maintain regular communication with all invigilators and communicate upcoming exam and mock exam dates in advance, checking availability of invigilators to support. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be reliable and trustworthy,
  • Have strong literacy and numeracy skill, 
  • Possess good organisational skills, 
  • Have the ability to work effectively with students and adults, 
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills, 
  • Have, or be able to obtain, knowledge around safeguarding children, 
  • Have, or be able to obtain, knowledge around exam regulations and protocols.
