Chrysalis
Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Teach First, is proud to announce the
launch of Chrysalis SCITT. This School-Centred Initial Teacher Training
(SCITT) programme offers trainees the opportunity to gain Qualified Teacher
Status (QTS) and a PGCE.
Our one-year, research-informed programme combines hands-on experience with expert-led training in either the primary or secondary phase. Trainees will undertake a four-day-a-week school placement from mid-September to July, focusing on applying their learning to make a real impact in the classroom.
The
programme balances developing your subject knowledge and expertise alongside
giving you a deep understanding of effective teaching methods and techniques to
manage your workload and wellbeing.
Chrysalis SCITT Mission
The
Chrysalis SCITT aims to attract and nurture exceptional talent within
our trust schools, aligning training with the values and practices that define
