About this Role

Head of Faculty - Maths  

We are seeking an inspirational, dedicated and experienced Head of Maths to provide strategic and operational leadership within our school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a department that delivers a high-quality, inclusive and ambitious curriculum, supporting pupils across all key stages and designed to meet the needs of all learners.   

The Ideal Candidate  

You will be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Maths or a closely related area and you will bring strong leadership experience within secondary education. You will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding Maths teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, securing excellent outcomes at GCSE, driving curriculum development, supporting diverse learners and improving attainment through innovative pedagogy and strategic initiatives. 

You will inspire both students and staff, champion high-quality teaching and learning and foster an inclusive, safe and high-performing departmental culture. Strong organisational, communication and IT skills are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining the highest standards.
