About this Role

Leader of Department, Geography – MS/US, TLR 2 (b) (value = £ 6,074)

full-time, permanent - with effect from 1 September 2026

 

 

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Leader of Geography to lead the team and enthuse and motivate students to achieve their best.

 

The successful candidate will:-

 

  • be an outstanding Geography teacher, passionate about getting young people to succeed at Geography
  • have the highest expectations for all young people;
  • be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students and staff to raise achievement at all levels;
  • be energetic and dynamic with vision and leadership qualities;
  • be able to plan, maintain and develop outstanding teaching and learning in the department;
