About this Role

Subject Leader Science

We are seeking an inspiring individual to lead our Science department—an environment where academic excellence, high student demand, and a culture of curiosity shape every lesson. Whether you are an experienced middle leader or someone ready to demonstrate leadership potential, you will bring a passion for engaging highly motivated learners and thrive in our supportive, intellectually stimulating community.

From September 2026, new Year 12 students will follow A Level courses, with Science consistently among the most popular subjects in the Sixth Form. Year 13 students will continue in the second year of the IBDP. Many of our students progress to Science and Medicine‑related degrees, supported throughout their application journey to achieve excellent outcomes. At GCSE, all students study the three separate Sciences, and our Years 7–9 curriculum - delivered through the Middle Years Programme - promotes deep understanding through collaborative inquiry. You will be joining a dedicated and collegiate team committed to high‑quality teaching and deep scientific understanding.

We offer an extensive CPD programme, leadership development opportunities, and robust support for staff wellbeing.
