About this Role

We are delighted to offer an opportunity to work within our supportive SEND Team, in which we aim to help our learners reach their full potential in a supportive environment.  We are seeking to appoint a qualified HLTA, who is energetic and has the ability to lead on interventions; planning and delivering individual and group work intervention sessions.

 The main purpose of the role is to support all aspects of their teaching and learning within the provision.

 The successful candidate must have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • experience working with learners who have specific needs and those with send, ideally at KS3/4.
  • experience of planning, delivering and evaluating a range of evidence-based interventions
  • the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate learners to achieve, through your own best practice
  • good interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team to improve teaching and learning
  • the capacity to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of our learners
