About this Role

Contract

15 hours per week (2pm-4.30pm Mon-Fri, & Saturday mornings)
£15-20 per hour depending on experience
5th Jan - 27 Mar 2026, term time only.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head of Hockey in Games and in after-school training sessions (Year 7 – Year 13)
Take teams to fixtures as and when required, including Saturday morning
Lead staff in the delivery of technical and tactical delivery as required
Support the Head of Hockey in professional development of hockey staff and games teachers through reflective practice.

Knowledge and Experience

Coaching and playing hockey at a high level
Hockey Coaching Qualification
High level communication skills
Excellent time management and reliability
Ability to motivate and inspire young people
Ability to work within a team, leading and supporting other hockey staff, teachers and coaches.
