Key responsibilities: 

• Monitor, track, and analyse student attendance data to identify patterns and concerns.
• Make prompt contact with families to challenge absence, offer support, and encourage strong attendance.
• Work closely with pastoral staff, teachers, and external agencies to address barriers to attendance.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students and families to encourage engagement and accountability.

Pay range: SCP 7-11 - £25,008.49 - £26,655.64 - FTE: £26,403.00 - £28,142.00 - 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year - Permanent 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent 
• Knowledge of attendance systems 
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils and parents/carers 
• Ability to analyse and evaluate data to identify trends and issues
