Teaching Assistant

Level: Level 1

Pay Point 3 – 4 (Dependent on Experience)

32.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday), Term Time only

Required: From Monday 13^th April 2026

Temporary Position initially

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants experienced in working with young children in our Key Stage one and Key stage two classrooms. We are looking for someone who can offer general classroom support and also care and support for children with higher levels of need.

§     Has experience in supporting children with higher levels of need

§     Is interested in supporting children with social and emotional needs

§     Has a therapeutic and nurturing approach to supporting children and behaviours 

§     Is an excellent classroom practitioner

§     Is resilient, proactive, creative and enthusiastic

§     Has high expectations for all children and for their own practice

§     Is able to work as part of a successful team

Milton Road is a large, two-form entry primary school in the North of Cambridge.
