About this Role
Full time: 36.5 hours per week
Fixed term contract: 31st August 2026 in first instance
Do you take pride in creating safe, clean, and inspiring
environments? Are you proactive, organised, and ready to make a real difference
every day? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
We are looking for a dedicated Site Manager to join our
school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our
school is a welcoming, secure, and well-maintained space where children can
thrive.
The
School:
Harborne Primary school is a large four form entry primary
school based over two sites. Our buildings provide the perfect environment for
our children to thrive.
This is an exciting time to join our community. With 807
wonderful pupils across two vibrant sites, an embryonic senior leadership team,
a committed and happy staff team, and a shared belief in the potential of every
child.
Harborne Primary offers a rewarding and purposeful
environment in which to make a significant impact. We are looking for someone
who will embrace the challenge, contribute to our culture of high expectations,
and play a central role in shaping the future direction of the school.
The
role:
We are
seeking to recruit an experienced, hands-on manager to oversee our site and
premises team. The role is varied, but ultimately, we want you to oversee and
develop the site so that we can realise its potential for our students and
staff. The work involves carrying out the day-to-day duties of running the site
as well as managing lettings, grounds & general maintenance, minor repairs
and managing premises staff.
The
person:
Our ideal
candidate is able to offer successful experience of managing a site including
leading a team as well as solid understanding of building regulations and
Health & Safety. Experience of working in a school is not essential,
however sound computer skills and a practical, hands-on approach to work are. A
trade background is desirable. It can be hectic at times, so you’ll need to be
able to work calmly and be well organised to get the job done.
