About this Role

Hours: 25 Hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Hay 10 (£15,589 - £16,355 per annum) 

This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2026 subject staffing review.  

St Mary’s Catholic School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated SEND Support Assistant to join our supportive and committed team.

This role involves providing targeted support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential within a nurturing classroom environment.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience of working with children with additional needs

Be patient, adaptable and positive in their approach

Work effectively as part of a team

Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills

Be committed to supporting inclusion and pupil wellbeing
