This is an exciting opportunity to teach in our Year 1 class for two days per week and become part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring every child is known, valued and enabled to flourish.

At St Edmund's, we pride ourselves on providing a caring and inclusive environment where children are inspired to achieve their very best. We are looking for a teacher who shares our high expectations, values positive relationships and is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences for all children.

We offer:

  • Fantastic children who are enthusiastic, polite and eager to learn.

  • A welcoming and supportive school community rooted in Christian values.

  • A commitment to the highest standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement.

  • A happy, vibrant and beautiful working environment with a close-knit staff team who genuinely enjoy working together.

  • A sensible and supportive approach to workload, focused on doing the right things for children.

  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression through our school and wider Trust network.

  • Supportive leadership and collaborative working with colleagues across the school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.

  • Can inspire, motivate and enthuse young learners.

  • Is committed to securing strong outcomes and helping every child flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

  • Works effectively as part of a team and values collaboration.

  • Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

  • Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular opportunities.

  • Will embrace and support the Christian ethos and values of the school.

Visits to the school for coffee, cake and a tour are warmly encouraged and provide an excellent opportunity to experience our welcoming school community first-hand. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
