Our learners are aged 11–19 and have a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD. Every session you deliver will be purposeful, therapeutic, and tailored — helping young people feel safe, engaged, and successful through movement.
As PE Tutor, you will design and deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, and differentiated PE sessions aligned to individual EHCP outcomes. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure a holistic, joined-up approach that places wellbeing at the heart of learning.
This role is ideal for someone who believes that PE is about far more than sport — it’s about connection, resilience, self-belief, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging PE sessions adapted to individual needs and abilities
Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour
Use movement-based strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement
Ensure all activities are accessible, inclusive, and safe
Track and assess learner progress, contributing to reports and reviews
Work collaboratively with teaching, therapy, and support teams
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and risk assessment
Encourage lifelong positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
What We Offer
A supportive, collaborative, and therapeutic working environment
Small class sizes with a strong focus on individualised learning
Ongoing professional development and SEN-specific training
The chance to make a genuine, lasting difference in young people’s lives
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and barred list checks, satisfactory references, and compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Why Join Us?
This role goes beyond PE lessons. It’s about helping young people feel regulated, confident, capable, and proud of what their bodies can do — sometimes for the very first time.
If you’re motivated by impact, connection, and purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
