St Joseph's Catholic School
"With God's love and inspiration, we aspire and achieve excellence"
Job Title: Teacher of Science
Responsible to: Head of Science
Start Date: September 2026
Our Science Department
At St Joseph’s Catholic School, the Science Department is an energetic, forward-thinking community where curiosity, critical inquiry, and hands‑on exploration lie at the heart of everything we do. Our team is supportive, innovative and deeply committed to nurturing a lifelong fascination with the natural world. We challenge pupils to think logically and scientifically, encouraging metacognitive approaches that empower them to understand not only what they are learning but how they learn and how to progress. Through practical investigation and conceptual rigour, we strive for excellence in every lesson, developing young scientists who question, analyse and reflect.
