You will focus on delivering high-quality History teaching across Years 9–13, making a tangible impact on results at both GCSE and A Level:-

      • Inspiring students to exceed their expectations.
      • Making a positive contribution to GCSE and A Level results.
      • Raising aspirations and supporting student progress.

We are a thriving 13-18 school in South East Northumberland with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and a strong commitment to excellence. We believe that every student deserves the chance to succeed, and we are looking for a dedicated teacher to help us make that happen.

Our Community & Values As a relatively small school, Seaton Valley High School benefits from a strong sense of community where every student is known and valued. Students embrace our core expectations: be ready, be respectful, be safe. These values are deeply embedded in everyday school life, helping to create a calm, purposeful learning environment where all students can thrive.

We welcome applications from teachers at all stages in their career, including ECTs, if you share our values and want to become part of a school that puts students and learning at the heart of everything we do.

Visits to the school are also warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact us by email at vacancies@svf.org.uk to make an appointment.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
