Key Responsibilities:
You will provide day to day administration support for all HR related matters
across all HR functions, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and
effectively.
You will coordinate the recruitment process from advertising through to
appointment ensuring all pre-employment checks and onboarding processes meet
safer recruitment requirements.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the staff probation and
promotion processes and assist with absence monitoring and HR reporting,
supporting the HR Manager with employee relations.
You will maintain
accurate HR records in line with data protection requirements.
About You:
We are looking for an HR professional who holds a CIPD Level 5
qualification (or equivalent) and who has experience of working in a busy and
varied HR department.
You will have a good knowledge of HR employment legislation and can
handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
You will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills,
be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities whilst also
working collaboratively as part of a team.
Attention to detail, strong administration skills and confidence with MS
Office packages and HR information systems are essential along with a
professional, positive can-do attitude.
Experience working within education would be advantageous but is not
essential.
