The Role

As an Inclusion Tutor, you will:

· Plan, develop, and deliver engaging sessions aligned with departmental learning journeys, as well as bespoke interventions focused on:

o Improving attendance and behaviour

o Building confidence and emotional regulation

o Developing positive learning habits

· Track and measure outcomes from each session to monitor progress and impact, supporting reintegration into mainstream classrooms.

· Liaise with teaching and support staff to provide tailored strategies for students during and after intervention.

Key Responsibilities

· Contribute to identifying needs, assessing students, and creating individual action plans.

· Deliver one-to-one and small group sessions, adapting lessons to meet students’ abilities and the National Curriculum.

· Provide accurate feedback and reports on attendance, engagement, progress, and behaviour.

· Support students through key transitions between educational settings and stages.

· Invigilate exams and tests when required.

What We Offer

· Opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in areas of interest.

· A strong commitment to staff wellbeing, including workload reduction measures.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

· Classroom-based experience and an understanding of working with students who have experienced trauma or attachment difficulties.

· A flexible approach and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.

· We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and value experience as much as formal qualifications. Please refer to the person specification for details, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
