Merchant Taylors' School is seeking an outstanding and
inspirational 1st XV Rugby Coach to join our ambitious rugby programme from
August 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated coach with a passion for performance rugby and player development to work within one of the leading independent school sporting environments in the country. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued development of rugby at Merchant Taylors’ School, coaching talented young players within a high-performing and values-driven programme.
The successful candidate will support and lead rugby coaching sessions, coach and manage fixtures, and contribute to the continued development of players and teams across the rugby programme. Based on the current timetable structure, coaching commitments are expected on Mondays, Wednesdays and selected Saturdays during the rugby season.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within an ambitious school rugby environment alongside experienced coaches and motivated student-athletes.
