About this Role

Hertford Heath Primary and Nursery School is a wonderful village school where staff are passionate about providing the very best outcomes for all children. We are seeking to appoint a nurturing and supportive Teaching Assistant to provide SEN support to children who require additional help to thrive in their learning environment.

This is a rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference every day in a school that values kindness, teamwork, and child-centred practice. We are looking for someone who is reliable, energetic, and fully committed to children’s learning. You will be able to demonstrate initiative, behaviour management skills, and a flexible, positive approach to your work. We welcome applications from candidates who will contribute to the support of our SEN pupils.

At Hertford Heath Primary School & Nursery we have a friendly and happy staff team. We take the well-being of our staff seriously and offer a supportive, but dynamic working environment with excellent Professional Development opportunities. We have polite, focused and very well-behaved children. Our parents are supportive and engaged in school life, with an active and supportive PTA.

If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for a fulfilling role within a welcoming community, we would love to hear from you.

We warmly welcome visits from prospective applicants who would like to see our school in action. We are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.
