You should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of inclusion. The candidate should have experience of working with young children and be willing to undertake a range of tasks as needed.
This is an important role within our school and you will be key in ensuring our children have a positive and happy lunchtime. Your role will involve supervising the children during eating, cleaning the dining room area and overseeing the children during play. You will need to have a calm and nurturing manner.
This will be a fixed term position, initially, but with scope to extend/renew the contract. The successful candidate will be part of a highly focused team committed to providing high quality care that will inspire our children and ensure the best outcomes for them.
The post is a part time role for 10 hours per week from 11:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
We are a popular single form entry school with many fantastic facilities. We have enviable grounds, a digital hub, a craft workshop, music studio and our nursery children enjoy caring for their chickens in the Nursery garden.
We are committed to providing a happy, safe, fun and secure environment in which every member of our learning community - learners, staff, parents and governors - feel valued and can flourish.
If the sound of this job excites you and you are:
A team player with strong communication skills
Warm, patient and committed to supporting every child’s individual needs
Organised, proactive and able to use your initiative
then we would be delighted to welcome you to visit and see our fantastic school for yourself, to let our children, staff and facilities speak for themselves. We look forward to meeting you! Please call 020 8950 3042 to arrange an appointment.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as we reserve the right to call candidates for interview and appoint before the closing date.
It is a requirement of all staff that they sign the IT Acceptable User Policy and attend Safeguarding and Prevent training.
