COVER SUPERVISOR  

Scale: LGS Scale 6, points 13-17 + London Fringe Allowance (pro rata)  
Salary: Actual Starting Salary Range £19,313 to £20 ,583
Hours: 
08:45 - 15:00 (28.75 hours pw) Mon - Fri term-time only. 

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support classroom cover across the school. This nonteaching role involves supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absence, with responsibilities including: 

    • Supervising students as they engage in set learning activities 
    • Acting as a positive role model and maintaining high standards of behaviour 
    • Promoting inclusion and ensuring all students feel supported within the classroom 
    • Keeping students focused on their tasks and responding to general queries 
    • Providing support to departments when cover is not required 

    Applicants must have grade C or above in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent, and experience of working in a school environment or in a supervisory role with young people will be an advantage.
