About this Role

Stretham Community Primary School is a thriving village school with 187 pupils on roll, known for its strong community roots and welcoming, family‑focused ethos. Children enjoy a broad, balanced and vocabulary‑rich curriculum, enriched by wide-ranging extracurricular opportunities that spark curiosity and build confidence. The school offers wrap‑around care, spacious outdoor grounds, OPAL play, and freshly cooked meals prepared on site each day.

Learning is brought to life through vibrant enrichment experiences—from historical workshops and local explorations to residential trips for older pupils. Forest School, the outdoor swimming pool, and extensive sports and music opportunities all contribute to a rich and varied school experience.

With Tiddlywinks Pre‑School joining the site, the school is strengthening its seamless, nurturing transition into Reception. A dedicated Parent Staff Association further enhances school life through much‑loved community events and fundraising activities.
