37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (shift pattern 5 days over 7, rota-based including weekends and evenings to cover school events and external lettings)
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Caretaker to join our busy Site Team working across multiple school sites as required, with responsibility for security, maintenance, cleaning, health and safety, porterage and administrative duties including computer use. The ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends to cover lettings is essential. Hands on experience of all the following areas would be an advantage: plumbing, decorating, carpentry, basic electrics. Duties include responsibility for facilitating lettings with support from the Lettings Officer in line with the school’s lettings policy. It is an essential requirement that you hold a B1 manual driving licence to drive the school minibus. For more detailed specifics of the role, please see the Job Description and Person Specification.
