Teacher of Computing

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Computing, as we seek to expand the team, to join our collaborative and supportive School from Easter or September 2026.
This position would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher who is keen to start their career in a friendly and supportive school. We have extensive experience of providing excellent mentoring and support to new staff.
The successful candidate will have access to a full range of courses both in-house and professionally accredited, including all of the National Professional Qualifications eg NPQLTD.
Our Computing department is expanding its offering at Key Stage 4 and 5, into Digital Media topics starting with a BTEC Level 3 in Digital Game Development, as of September 2026. This would be a great opportunity for someone with a Media background to expand into Computing.
We are an iPad school with all staff and students receiving an iPad (along with regular CPD on how to use it) to support teaching and learning.
We can
offer onsite accommodation for new staff in one of our school houses. Each
house is semi-detached with three bedrooms and a large garden. Please enquire for more information.

Ofsted inspected our school in March 2025 and found that behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and Sixth Form provision are all Good. The inspection identified that students are proud of our school and its diversity, feel safe and supported, and have a strong sense of community.
